NAPIT (National Association of Professional Inspectors and Testers) are an organisation committed to consumer safety in the Domestic, Commercial and Industrial sectors. The aim of the organisation is to ensure that through the competence of their Members, consumers can be confident of work that complies with the relevant regulations.

Gas Safe Register Members
The Gas Safe Register is the official gas registration body for the United Kingdom, Isle of Man and Guernsey, appointed by the relevant Health and Safety Authority for each area. By law all gas engineers must be on the Gas Safe Register.
Gas Safe Register replaced CORGI as the gas registration body in Great Britain and Isle of Man on 1 April 2009 and Northern Ireland and Guernsey on 1 April 2010.
They are the official list of gas engineers who are registered to work safely and legally on boilers, cookers, fires and all other gas appliances. If a plumber performs maintenance or installation of a gas appliance and does not belong to the Gas Safe Register they are breaking the law! Whilst it might be tempting to pay a cowboy builder to get the job done there is a real risk of injury and death from unsafe gas work, meaning that belonging to and maintaining the standards set forth by the Gas Safe Register is important not just for us, but for the safety and peace of mind of our customers.
